Vancouver, USA is pleased to welcome you to Southwest Washington and the 2010 WIAA/Dairy Farmers of Washington 3A State Tennis Tournament. Our goal is to provide players, coaches, spectators, and tennis enthusiasts with a truly memorable tennis experience.

Draws: Match draws will be provided in programs, on the tournament draw bulletin board or online here.

Tournament: All play will take place at one indoor location minutes away from a rich variety of accommodations, food, and activities. Staybridge Suites and Springhill Suites will serve as our tournament hotels hosting most teams.

Facilities: The Vancouver Tennis Center offers nine indoor and four outdoor courts in a wonderful user-friendly venue. The entire event will be held in one facility, rain or shine. This facility has won USTA recognition both for its program and its directors. It regularly hosts high school district and USTA-sanctioned tournaments.

Expertise: Brent Waddle, Steve Marshall, Mike Mon, Tony Nelson and Sanja Indic bring extensive experience in running outstanding tournaments. Vancouver has hosted past state championships with great success in 1998-99 and 2006-present.

Practice courts: Four outdoor courts will be available from 2-close on Thursday, May 27 at the Vancouver Tennis Center. Additional courts will be available at nearby high schools and community colleges. Courts will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Directions to local outdoor courts.

Tennis services: The Vancouver Tennis Center stocks overgrips and other tennis supplies. Players Racquet Shop of Portland will offer on-site racquet stringing and equipment maintenance.

Location and site: All tournament functions (facility, food, accommodations) are within a two-mile radius, easily accessible from I-205, I-5, SR-500, and SR-14.

Accommodations: A variety of safe, recently-built, and convenient hotels are nearby, all with easy access to and from the freeway and VTC.

Food service and catering: We will provide light breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages for coaches and tournament staff. Fast food, casual restaurants, and grocery stores are minutes away.

Sundaes on Thursday: On Thursday, May 28 from 6-8:30pm at the Vancouver Tennis Center, we will offer players and coaches ice cream, music, and an opportunity to do some drills with some of VTC’s USPTA certified tennis professionals. This will be a great way to unwind after dinner and have some fun before the excitement of the tournament begins.
